Wir schreiben das Jahr 1200 vor Christus: Der amtierende Pharao von Ägypten ist Ichlynchnaund der Unverschämte. Schon als kleines Kind hatte er 200 Kamele und Affen zum Spielen. Nun hat, unser nicht allzu weiser Pharao, ein neues, noch wahnsinnigeres Unterfangen durchgesetzt: Er baut den allergrößten Zoo der Antike. Sogar ägyptische Gottheiten werden von ihm gefangen gehalten.
Doch nun ist er zu weit gegangen. Die unzähligen Tiere und unsterblichen Wesen in „Pharaos Zoo“ revoltieren, brechen aus und nehmen den verrückten König als Geisel. Der Tierpark ist ein Labyrinth und Ichlynchnaund, schwer bewacht von den Rebellen, in seiner Mitte untergebracht.
